We dance for pleasure. Each year, in June, in the old town of Zielona Góra we present our "Celtic Midsummer Dance" - a dance performance that refers to the oldest Irish beliefs, legends and habits.

Slievemore is the name of a mountain in a northern part of Achill Island in Ireland. It is a wide mountain whose peak is 672m above sea level. The southern slopes hide the relics of ancient Celtic times: dolmens, oghamas, and one of the cromlechs. On the northern side, where the foot of the mountain almost reaches the ocean, you can take a boat trip through the tunnels of "Seal Caves" far underneath the mountain. There are also a few remnants of not-so-distant times, times when Ireland wasn′t so joyful and dancing. These are the rows of solitary stone cottages, abandoned during the Great Famine.
"Slievemore, that is ′big mountain′, has became for me a magical place which draws me like a magnet. I′m sure that everyone has a place like this, and visits it not only in reality, but also in dreams. A place where you can somehow get a sense of the spirit of events that took place hundreds of years ago." - Litha
